Mike, Head of Operation's has also made it up there today to see them off and hopefully take pictures and update the blog. Unfortunately he has been struggling to get enough reception to update from the iPhone.

Walkers arrive in John O'Groats for start of walk
John and Adrian who are starting off the walk have arrived in John O'Groats in perpetration for the start of the walk of the walk in the morning.

RNIB Website Article
First piece of external comms has been published on the RNIB website about the walk - check it out. We will be on the home page next week when we start the walk.
First Blog Entry
7 days to go till this two and a half month trip starts. A huge amount of effort has gone into planning this. Planning a route from John O'Groats to Lands End is hard enough but adding in 300 miles to walk through all the call centres and offices has been extra tricky.
Final meeting with all the team leaders is being held in Birmingham on Wednesday. A very busy final week of preparation ahead of us!
We have got the use of an iphone which will be used by each walker and passed down along the whole route. This will enable all the walkers to update this blog and twitter (including geotags) as well as adding pictures and video along the way. This should mean regular updates.
